Intentional Decision Making
Date: Tuesday, August 18, 2026
Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Central
Decision-making isn't just a career skill, it's a life skill. For high-achieving women and anyone navigating evolving careers, leadership roles, personal transitions, or increasing demands on their time and energy, decision fatigue is real. Add in shifting identities, health changes, caregiving responsibilities and the pressure to "get it right," and decision-making becomes more than just a task. It becomes a source of emotional strain and a strategic bottleneck. In this honest, practical session, Dr Rishma Walji (an ND and PhD who has spent over 25 years helping women navigate difficult decisions) offers a new way to approach choice. One that doesn't ignore emotion, identity, or sacrifice. This isn't about knowing the perfect path, it's about knowing how to move forward with clarity, capacity and confidence, even when none of the options are easy.
This webinar is brought to you by the ASA, CSSA, and SSSA Women in Science Committee. All are welcome to join and learn new strategies to enhance their decision-making skills.
