This webinar provides a general understanding of what constitutes healthy soil, including the balance of soil, air, water, carbon, microbes, and minerals, to support nutrient cycling and sustain a healthy microbiome. Speakers will discuss the importance of organic fertilizer use and how the C:N ratio influences nutrient availability in systems that depend on soil type, temperature, organic matter, application method, and other variables affecting nitrogen mineralization.
